Marine Electrical and Electronics Systems - This class is designed for those new to marine electrical and electronic systems as well as those wishing to fill in gaps in their knowledge. We will cover everything from the basics of AC and DC electricity to setting up small NMEA 2000 networks. This class is a combination of lecture and hands-on activities. Participants are encouraged to bring a volt meter they are comfortable with. The class is being taught by NMEA-certified installers Patrick Burks, of Oakcliff Sailing and US Sailing and Brendan Rathbone-Desch, who possesses a degree in Electrical Engineering and working on a degree in Computer Engineering
