Wednesday Night Racing in Chicago

Wednesday night racing is a time-honored tradition across the country.  These races are a great opportunity to get out midweek for fun, crew development, and post-race socializing.  Here in Chicago CASRA clubs host these regattas convenient to each of the harbors.  Typically running from May through August or September,  the series are intended to introduce sailors new to the sport as well as provide fun and competitive events for experienced boats and crews.  Regattas are open to all levels of experience, and club membership is not required. Don’t miss the social gatherings afterward at the sponsoring clubs to mingle with your competitors, throw back a beer or two, and brag about/lament your results.
