CASRA (Chicago Area Sail Racing Association) is dedicated to growing and enhancing the sport of sailboat racing in the Chicagoland area. In partnership with the five Chicago yacht clubs, CASRA works to coordinate and improve racing opportunities for sailors of all levels. By bringing together boat owners, clubs, schedules, racing fleets, and sailing organizations, CASRA ensures a well-organized, competitive, and thriving racing community.
Through a coordinated race schedule, standardized race documents, and centralized registration support, CASRA makes racing more accessible and enjoyable for all participants. From the excitement of a 100-boat beer can race to the camaraderie of our annual town hall awards party, CASRA fosters a vibrant and inclusive sailing culture.
